To create a brand experience within a blank canvas venue, taking into consideration the venue’s Grade 1 listed status.
The brand experience is part of a larger event with competitor brands so it is imperative the space is an inviting and memorable area for all guests.
The overall decor of a venue is a key way of immersing guests in a brand experience. Our challenge here was to make the blank white walls of the vaults into an enticing and intriguing area for guests.
As Tobacco Dock is a Grade 1 listed venue, suppliers are not allowed to affix anything to walls, nor drill/alter the structure, so we engineered free standing wall prints with the addition of weighted benches – these secured the walls without touching the original architecture, plus provided extra seating.
Highlighting the heritage of the drinks on offer (the wall images are from the Glenfiddich whisky distillery) we produced bar furniture from old whisky barrels – branding large barrels with the logos of the brands on offer: Glenfiddich, Hendrick’s, Sailor Jerry, Disaronno and Monkey Shoulder.
We used coloured up-lighters to give the area more of a ‘bar’ ambiance and awaited the thirsty guests …
